Printemps à Paris!

Spring is creeping up on us slowly here in Portland. The weather isn't picture perfect just yet, but that doesn't mean we can't anticipate sunny days with a chance of inevitable rain. I propose we nurture our needs to break out of our wintry wardrobe by putting those slacks and wellies aside and pairing some cropped denim with a pair of cute ankle strap flats.

Stow away that large knit scarf and layer this adorable Charolette Taratola cotton blazer with a light-weight pashmina. Not only is it the perfect size to enclose my water canteen, an extra cardigan, wallet, (a bundle of receipts I should probably throw away) and my make up bag, it also gives me four exterior zipper compartments to organize my excessive belongings. Moving to Portland from NYC has surely coaxed me into walking a bit slower, eating better, and taking the time to smell the roses (and they sure are plentiful!) but I'll never be able to quit my need to have a bag that holds the contents of my entire life. Ladies, if you're anything like me, rest assured that this bag will be an asset to your wardrobe (and dare I say daily life).
