 I’ve been on a lot of first dates. Some are destined to tank before your first drink arrives--others send you spinning into a major Crush Orbit that you don’t come down from for days. But there’s one thing that every first date brings: Major outfit anxiety. What to wear?

Unless you’re going hiking or grape-stomping, there’s always one first-date outfit that kills: Hot jeans and an easy-chic top. Add some dangling earrings and cute shoes and bam! You’re there. And if your date is a bummer, you’ll still have an adorable go-to getup for your next first date.
